ZANU PF ‘s Secretary for Finance Cde Patrick Chinamasa says it is crucial to keep the mind clean as the Party works towards achieving its set targets.
He said this during the clean up exercise held at the Party Headquarters this morning in an event that was graced by the newly appointed Party’s National Political Commissar Cde Mike Bimha.
Staff members who included several directors cleaned the premises as part of the norm.
“Today is a day that we uphold the call by our President and First Secretary Cde E.D Mnangagwa to set aside every first Friday of the month to clean our environment,” Cde Chinamasa said.
“We should not only clean these environs on this day only but make sure that we keep them clean always. Many of our visitors who come to the Party Headquarters are impressed by the way they find the place clean and it gives a good impression about the Party and our management skills.
“As we clean our environment, let us also make sure to clean our minds as we work towards achieving our five million membership target.”
The Party’s Tourism and Environment Department which falls under the First Lady, Her Excellency, Cde Auxillia Mnangagwa’s portfolio as the newly appointed Secretary, has made sure constantly uphold the initiative that is aimed at ensuring a clean and safe environment.
