ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Mike Bimha says the Politburo will decide on the outcome of the just ended Provincial Elections and therefore any victory celebrations are premature.
The Party held elections across the country on the 28th of December in a move that was aimed at putting structures in place ahead of the 2023 Harmonized elections.
In a Press Release, Cde Bimha said as an “established rule and tradition of the Party, until the Politburo convenes to deliberate on the outcomes as announced at the aforementioned press conference, the results given out remain provisional and preliminary and will be subjected to the wisdom of Politburo deliberations and processing of legitimate complaints raised by others.”
Politburo is scheduled to meet this week.
