The skeletal staff at ZANU PF Headquarters embarked on a clean up campaign this Friday in line with the covid-19 World Health Organisation guidelines.
It is a norm that the first Friday of every month, the country sets aside two hours to clean up their surroundings. This however seems to have been impacted by the covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking today at the clean up programme, Director for Administration for the ruling Party, Cde Dickson Dzora noted that despite the few staff members present, the clean up had to continue.
“You know very well that every first Friday of the month, we are obliged to clean up our surroundings as declared by the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa. We have agreed that we alternate in the different Departments because of the spike in the pandemic."
Cde Mildred Svuure representative from the Party’s Department of Environment highlighted that clean up remains crucial.
“The National Clean up programme as proclaimed by His Excellency the President Cde ED Mnangagwa remains fundamental during the year despite the Covid19 pandemic. The Department continues to push for clean, safe and healthy environments."
