Zimbabwe ends 10 years of Multi currency system

Statutory Instrument 142 of 2019 abolishes Multicurrency. The ZimDollar now the only official currency for domestic transactions!

Zim ends 10 years of dollarisation, declares local currency sole legal tender. All local payments to be in RTGS$, bond notes and coins.

Airfares, import duty payments for selected goods to remain in foreign currency.
